After 25 years, the items from the amazing Time Capsule buried in Victory Park in 2000 can be collected from the MacFarlane Burnet Room in the Traralgon Library (34 Kay St) between 9.30am and 3.00pm on the following dates:

The joy of viewing and collecting news from the past

A big shout out to all those who came along to the McFarlane – Burnett room at Traralgon Library over the last few days and viewed the 2000 time capsule’s contents and collected their letters.

Lots of wonderful memories are surfacing with the collected letters; there have been many laughs and a few tears. The variety of recipients is super: letters to an older self; to grandchildren and children; and future bosses are among the 25-yr old post recipients.

Three more collection and viewing days are available: Tuesday 21st October, Friday 24th October and Tuesday 28th October – 9.30 to 3.30.
